VEIKKO VALLI, CIO
Veikko Fredrik Valli has a background in European equities as a portfolio manager and as a sell-side analyst.
His work experience includes managing approximately $300-500M in European small-cap portfolios at Montanaro Asset Management in London and a sell-side analyst position at RBS covering the oil services sector and assorted Nordic small-caps. He has also worked in M&A at Icecapital Securities in Helsinki and at Evli Bank in Helsinki and San Francisco.
Mr. Valli has an M.Sc. (Economics) degree from the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland, is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and has passed the Series 65 exam.
ALEX LEWIS, Head of Research and Risk Management
Alex Lewis has a background in quantitative analysis and investment analysis at a hedge fund.
Alex Lewis holds a PhD from MIT and an MBA from the MIT`s Sloan School of Management. He also holds a BS in chemical engineering from Oregon State University. His works experience includes a position as a project development manager at Electro Scientific Industries (ESI) and an associate position at Alambic Investment Management, a market-neutral hedge fund in San Francisco.
Dr. Lewis is a CAIA charterholder and member of the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) association.
